We can proudly say that we are the oldest real estate agent company based in the south of Portugal and one of the oldest in the country. Over 30 years of activity, Urbinvest acquired a vast knowledge of the market, enabling to act with professionalism in the most diverse sectors of real estate activity, placing products and services on the market with the security to our clients...

-In June 1980, the founder of the company Valentim Costa, started his real estate activity in the Algarve, the brokerage market was practically non-existent, on activity developed by professionals, usually designated as property agents or agencies who had no license to mediate. With the opening of the first Urbinvest office in Quarteira, we started the promotion and marketing of residential and tourist resorts in the Algarve.

-On the 20th August 1981 Urbinvest consolidated its trademark, with the approval and registration of the same under license nº 25.295, this starting the process to obtain legal authorization to operate as a government licensed estate agent.

-The authorization to engage in real estate brokerage was granted in 1983, making us Member nº 71 of APEMI-Portuguese Association of Government Licensed Estate Agents, currently APEMIP.

Gradually, and under the name Urbinvest, we have expanded our operations from retail and new properties, to promotion and mediation of plots of land, villas, resorts, offices and commercial areas.

-In 1984, we opened our second office in Vilamoura, and two years later opened the third delegation.

-In 1989, the founder of the company decided to transfer its activity to the current company called "Realvilla Sociedade de Mediação Imobiliaria lda", continuing the mediation/brokerage under the trade name of Urbinvest.

-In 1998, we inaugurated the head office in the prestigious building Vilamarina in Vilamoura.

-In 2002 the head office was relocated to current headquarters in Vilamoura, which centralizes all administrative services and customer support, the company network activity is also coordinated from the central services.

In addition to our offices and sales departments, we have created a network of agents and representatives at national and international levels.

Currently our company is one of the 12th oldest active members of the prestigious association APEMIP - Association of Professionals and Government Real Estate Companies of Portugal.
